What actually changes
PDF and JPG are not the same picture in two wrappers.
Each page is rendered at a DPI you choose and encoded as JPEG. Vector text becomes pixels at that resolution and stops being selectable, searchable or scalable.
Worth knowing first
The DPI you pick is permanent. 150 is fine on screen and looks soft when printed; 300 is print-grade and roughly four times the bytes. Multi-page output arrives as a ZIP, because a JPEG holds one page.

Can I convert just one page?
Yes. Give a page number or a range and only those pages are rendered.
Why is the text blurry?
The render resolution was too low for the text size. Re-run at 300 DPI.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. pdf.js renders the document inside this page, on your machine. Our test run of the PDF suite made zero network requests.
