Convert PNG to PDF

Screenshots or scans need to be submitted as a single document, because the recipient asked for a PDF and not a folder of images.

    What actually changes

PNG and PDF are not the same picture in two wrappers.

Each image is placed on its own page, sized to its aspect ratio, and the pages are combined into one document in the order you choose.

    Worth knowing first

PDF cannot store PNG's own compression, so a naive embed decodes the image and stores raw pixels. A 27 KB PNG became a 538 KB PDF that way in our tests. We carry the image as JPEG by default, which produced 26 KB for the same input; quality 100 opts back into a lossless path when you need it.

    Questions

    PNG to PDF, answered

Can I combine many PNGs into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all, arrange the order, and each becomes a page.

Will the text in my screenshot be selectable?

No. The page contains an image of text. Run OCR afterwards if it needs to be searchable.

    Does this upload my screenshots?

No. This pair runs entirely in the page on your own machine.
