What actually changes
SVG and PDF are not the same picture in two wrappers.
The SVG is rendered onto a PDF page matched to its aspect ratio. PDF and SVG are both page description formats, so the result is a portable single page that prints predictably.
Worth knowing first
Our on-device path rasterises the artwork before placing it, so the result is a PDF that prints correctly but whose text is not selectable and whose lines will not stay crisp at extreme zoom. Export at a high resolution if it is going to press.

Will the PDF be vector or raster inside?
Raster, on the on-device path. That is enough for attaching, sharing and normal printing, but a print house that wants scalable paths should be sent the SVG itself.
What page size do I get?
One page matched to the SVG's own aspect ratio, not A4. That keeps the artwork from being letterboxed or cropped.
